Panasonic Introduces Drone Balloon Camera

Panasonic Balloon Cam

Panasonic, a leading developer of electronics, recently introduced the Balloon Cam, which is designed for use at large public sporting events, concerts and other public gatherings. The Balloon Cam is kept in the air by a large helium balloon, which also protects it from damage if it bumps into something or someone. The drone is powered by four propellers and a flight controller which allow it to move with graceful, although slow, agility. The Panasonic Balloon Cam is designed for not only shooting aerial footage at events, but can also be used to project large images on screens.

“The camera can be used for a long duration as it uses the buoyancy of the large balloon and saves energy while in flight. Moreover, by optimally controlling the thrust force of the propeller, this all-new drone system realizes both excellent stability and mobility,” says Panasonic. “Panasonic’s Ballooncam can be used to push the boundaries of event production by combining this camera with other Panasonic products such as projectors.”
